Call for Free Papers and Posters - NZDA Conference 2008, Hamilton

The 2008 NZDA Conference Organising Committee invites you to present original work relating to dietetics at the conference to be held in Hamilton on September 1-3, 2008. This opportunity to share your research and practice with colleagues is open to members and non-members of the NZDA.

Free papers will be presented either as oral presentations or as posters, available for viewing throughout the conference.

The submission process is easy to follow and should be attempted once your abstract is complete. The link is available at the top of this page.

Please also indicate your preference for oral or poster presentation.

The Programme Committee is responsible for the final selection and the times allocated, but please indicate if you have difficulties with particular dates or times.

Details of the time allocated to presentations, poster sizes etc will be forwarded to those concerned.

Closing date for free paper submissions is: Monday 14^th April 2008

Notification of acceptance: By e-mail on or before Wednesday 30^th April 2008

Posters need to be reviewed and selected by the program committee.

• Portrait layout is required (NOT landscape)
• Preferred size is: A0 (841mm x 1189mm or 84.1cm x 118.9cm)
• Alternative size is: A1 (841mm x 594mm or 84.1cm x 59.4cm)
• Otago University students tend to provide an intermediate size between the above.

NZDA and the Conference Organising Committee are presenting Conference abstracts as a Supplement to Nutrition and Dietetics in 2008.

Editors of the NZDA Supplement are the two Journal Associate Editors – Dr Carol Wham and Dr Jane Elmslie. This is sent to the the Nutrition and Dietetics Supplements Editor for final approval.

Please take this opportunity to tell us about your research, new initiatives in practice or studies etc and consider the conference theme “Bridging the Gaps”
